Most visitors to Cambodia require Cambodia Visas but nationals of Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam, Laos and Indonesia do not require the visa to enter Cambodia. Most nationalities that do require a visa can easily obtain their Cambodia visa on arrival, for more information, check out our Cambodia Visa on Arrival section. If you prefer to get your visa before you arrive in Cambodia, then most nationalities can obtain the Cambodia E-Visa online before arrival. Please note the Cambodia E-Visa can only be used at 5 of the Cambodia Entry Points. Please check out our Cambodia Visa section for more information about the Cambodia entry/exit points. A return ticket is not required for most nationalities.
You can also obtain your Cambodia Visa at any Cambodian Embassy. If you obtain your visa at the Cambodian Embassy in Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh or Vientiane then you normally get your visa issued within 24 hours for US$20. If you are taking one of our Angkor Tours or Cambodia Tours then simply email us if you need more information about Cambodia Visas. However, if you are arriving by air then the best option is to simply get you Cambodia Visa on Arrival. Nationals of Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka and Sudan must obtain their Cambodia Visa from a Cambodian Embassy before they arrive in Cambodia. Nationals of the above countries must also have either a pre-arranged tour via a travel agent or a letter of invitation. An onward flight ticket is also required. Overstaying on your visa If you overstay on your visa then you will be asked to pay US$6 for each day you have overstayed.
